Hoover City Dad Brigade

Supporting the Third Annual Hoover City Dad Brigade, July 29! This is an annual opportunity to engage the community in sprucing up Hoover City School campuses before the start of the 2017-2018 school year. Kickoff is at Home Depot – Riverchase Galleria, 6:45 a.m. The projects are at all Hoover schools. Both Dads and older male students in the school system are especially encouraged to participate. Former school board member and current Hoover city councilman, Derrick Murphy, began the Hoover City Dad Brigade in 2015.  Hundreds of volunteers showed up that first year and the event has grown ever since.
