Worship Service

Worship at Cross Creek

But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. John 4:23

Vision of Cross Creek Worship:

It is our hope to equip true worshippers who will seek to worship our Lord both in Spirit and in Truth on a daily basis and corporately on Sunday mornings by God’s grace and for God’s glory.

Mission of Cross Creek Worship:

We desire to fulfill this vision by providing a Biblical model of worship in which we seek to:

  • Magnify God’s holiness and renown
  • Recognize our need for God’s grace and mercy as we see the depth of our sin and brokenness
  • Respond in praise and thanksgiving for God’s redeeming work in our lives

A Typical Worship Service:

We have a blended service with a majority of our music stemming from Reformed University Fellowship. We read several passages of Scripture each week and other statements of faith pointing towards God’s holiness and our need for repentance and grace. Reverend Chris Peters typically preaches expositorily through a book of the Bible, and we close each Sunday by partaking of communion and singing the Doxology.
